Senaite Health Configuration
In addition to the standard Senaite LIMS setup, more items pertaining to health care labs need to be configured to use the system to its optimum. In many instances however the additional data elements are not used in core LIMS functionality and typically belong in an EMR or HIS

A number of Case and Patient attributes, as requested by sponsors and in some cases enhanced with definitions and concepts described In Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary, and in other cases from information retrieved from CDC or other dictionaries like Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary
Case attributes
- Case Onset Date
- Patient Age at Case Onset Date
- Hours fasting
- Patient condition. Height, Weight, Waist, Basal body temperature
- Symptoms
- Provisional diagnosis. ISD 9 to be upgraded if required
- Case status. Outbreak, Single case, Survey
- Case outcome. Death, Hospitalised, Recovery
