Customise the LIMS front page

Until Plone's CMS features are re-integrated, only limited editing of the LIMS front page is possible. It remains a good idea for SEO purposes and conveying important information to prospects and clients

Overview

Client Contacts already logged in and not seeing the Lab's LIMS dashboard. are greeted with a rather bold Senaite front page

Procedure

Navigate the ZMI management interface and click on front-page (Welcome to Plone)

Click on its View tab

Click the page's Edit tab

Edit the page's title, summary and text body, click [Save]

Navigate to the LIMS home page, and add /select_default_view to the end of its URL, e.g. lims.mylab.com/select_default_view

Select choose a content item

Select your newly created page and save
