14 Worksheets

A number of similar analyses - on different samples but logically belonging together, such as intended for the same lab workstation, instrument of specific analyst - can be grouped into a single unit of work on a Worksheet. Sometimes called a Job Card. Here, all their results can be captured and reviewed together, in context of peers and associated QC results on the same page

Worksheet Analyses

Be sure to have enough Analyses available in the system to fill a worksheet with. Analyses available for assignment to Worksheets, have to be in Received state and not assigned to other WSs already

Worksheet Lists

Like all other lists in Bika, Worksheet lists maybe navigate by listing the objects by status, in this case All, Open, To be verified, Verified or Rejected.

Like all other Bika lists, the list can be manipulated to show only the columns you need

Analyses are hyperlinked on Worksheets and their Sample views

Sample Views

On Sample lists, Samples that are fully assigned to Worksheets are iconised

The List can alsoo be sorted to list unassigned Samples at top

On Sample views, Worksheets are linked to individual Analyses from the Worksheet icon

Worksheet Titles

If you have bika.extras installed, you could enable Worksheet Titles in the Setup, at the bottom of the Analyses tab

Worksheets will then be listed and displayed with the Analysis Categories they contain as 'titles'

Export Worksheets to Instruments

Worksheets can be exported in formats specified for instruments capable of uploading Sample lists before analysing them

Instrument results import

Result data produced by the instruments may also be uploaded directly if the system is configured to read it's export files

CSV results import, in a table of Sample IDs and their Analyses. It does introduce potential human error and slows down turnaround
