Configuration

The default warning period for new Reference Samples is configured in the Sampling tab in the Bika Setup, as the number of days before the sample's Expiry Date

The period may also be captured on the Reference Sample itself

Alerts

When the date for the alert arrives, the LIMS emails the lab managers with information about the expiry
