Suppliers

A handy central place to manage all the lab's Suppliers and their Contacts from. In the LIMS They are structured like Clients as organisations and their contact people, telephone numbers, email and physical, postal and billing addresses

Create Suppliers by navigating to it from the Setup panel and proceed like you would do for Clients

The Suppliers' folders serve as important repository for Reference Samples used for QC on Worksheets. Results for the Sample are plotted as control charts from here

Sub contracting labs also have to be set up as Suppliers - they get referenced on the Methods subcontracted to them

Ditto Instrument vendors and maintenance contractors, referenced on Instruments and their certification records
