Invoice Content
The invoice header includes the lab address and contact information, lab logo. Followed by the Client’s contact information
The Invoice number is displayed prominently, and the Invoice Date
The Batches it refers to are indicated with the Client Batch ID, LIMS Batch ID and Description
The Batch IDs are hyperlinked to their default pages
The Invoice lines consist of totals for the
- Profiles applied on the Samples
- Preparation steps (in sort order) if they were not included on any of the Profiles earlier
- Analyses additional to the profiles (if any)
The invoice amount is totalled at the bottom of the table, VAT calculated and the balance indicated as the amount payable
The lab's bank information and payment terms are listed at the bottom of the Invoice
The Invoice footer can be edited and formatted by lab managers in the LIMS Setup's Accounting page:
Sent Invoices
Published invoices can be viewed from the Batch Invoices item in the left hand navigation menu
The user may drill down from here directly on both the Invoice and the Batches it originated from on the list
They can also be listed per Client on their Invoices Issued tab, the same for individual Batches
